rental on an off-road trip
to bag a couple peaks
near Skyline Drive |

I tried to drive around the
worst of it, but the tires
kept slipping into the
hole so I just gunned it |

We barreled through
similar mud puddles but
scraped on a rock in this
one and lost momentum |

as you can see, these
tires
were not meant for
off-road use and have no
lateral traction at all |

my Nissan Pathfinder
which was in for a
replacement sunroof |
